Behind Seyora

Hi, I’m Kay, founder of Seyora Desi Jewels.

The Beginning

After spending several years working in the corporate space, I started feeling a pull toward building something more meaningful and closer to my identity, and that’s how Seyora began.

I’ve always admired the beauty and intricacy of South Asian jewelry. I’ve also always been very particular about how things come together and the way each piece complements the next. During my own wedding, that attention to detail made the process feel more overwhelming than it needed to be. I found myself sourcing pieces from different places just to complete one look, and it never felt as simple or seamless as it should have been.

That experience stayed with me.

Why Seyora Exists

Seyora was created to make that experience easier and more comforting, a place where you can find pieces that naturally come together, whether it’s for your wedding, a celebration, or simply something that makes you feel special.

At its heart, Seyora is about inclusivity. It’s about representing South Asian women in all our diversity, honoring different cultures and heritage, staying connected to the roots of who we are, and creating space for the freedom to express ourselves in our own way.

Seyora was founded in November 2025, and in many ways, it’s still very new. We’re learning as we grow, figuring things out one step at a time, but we’re also genuinely enjoying the process of building something meaningful and bringing these pieces to you.

How It Comes to Life

Seyora is a female-led space. From curation to product shoots to website building and everything in between, all of it is built hands-on with care and intention, with support from my husband along the way. So, every part of it is deeply personal to how the brand comes to life.

More Than Jewelry

Jewelry is more than just adornment. It carries memory, identity, connection, and meaning with it. Every piece at Seyora is chosen with care and intention. Every order is packed and handled with the same care, so the experience feels just as meaningful as the jewelry itself.

I’m really glad you’re here!
